Overview

​

This training course will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to respond to an emergency situation at home or whileout and about. You will learn to provide life support and the management of a casualty of any age until the arrival of medical assistance.

 

Certain workplaces may require additional or specialised training, including childcare and high-risk environments. If you are unsure whether the training product is right for you, please seek advice from the training provider

Unit of Competency

 

On successful completion of this course, students will be eligible for a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for:

 

• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and

• HLTAID010 Provide Basic emergency life support
