All trainers facilitating training for The Resus People have completed and passed the Australian Government Department of Health e-Learning course in Infection Control Training - COVID 19
The following conditions apply to the facilitation of all courses run by The Resus People with reference to the current COVID-19 situation
The course can be facilitated as a Public Course as advertised by The Resus People.
Students/Clients may nominate a suitable facility of their own. Suitability is at the discretion of the trainer. Prior discussion of the facility is to be conducted with the trainer.
The training facility must be able to provide a space of 4 square metres per student at all times. This means 2 metres distance separating each student.
The maximum number of people that can attend a course is 20 - including the trainer. For numbers greater than 20 extra trainers will be required. An additional charge may apply.
Should a student/client nominate their own training facility it will be their responsibility to ensure the facility is properly sanitised.
The trainer will provide hand sanitiser for the course.
The trainer will ensure all training equipment to be used for the course is sanitised prior to, and during the course.
The trainer will be provide gloves / masks for the student(s).
Upon arrival to attend the face-to-face practical training at the trainer's or the student's facility all students will be asked if they have any symptoms of COVID -19 such as:
If any students answer yes to or are showing any of these signs/symptoms, they will not be permitted to commence the practical part of the course and they will be asked to leave the course immediately and advised to follow NSW Health guidelines and get tested for COVID-19.
If a student has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 15 days prior to the practical course day or, they have been in Close Contact with a person that has had Covid-19 in the last 7 days prior to the course, the student is required to conduct a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on the day of course and have the kit/result with them.
Students are required to wear a fitted surgical mask (or similar) throughout the course. Gloves and hand sanitiser will be provided on course day.
